Steve Papa founded Parallel Wireless in 2012 to dramatically lower the cost of building/operating wireless data networks, and in this talk learn what the art of the possible might be over the next decade and the implications for anyone requiring Internet connectivity in the future as well for investors in communications infrastructure.
Papa is the founder of Endeca, which was sold to Oracle for a reported $1.1 billion. Prior to Endeca, he was a member of the original MIT $50K team that created Akamai (now an $11B market cap NASDAQ company), and a member of the early team at Inktomi in charge of creating the company’s infrastructure caching business. Before that, he worked at Teradata and at Venrock, the Rockefeller Family’s venture capital arm.
He has a BS from Princeton University in Operations Research and Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
